Parenting is never easy and for parents with learning disabilities there are often extra challenges.
Devon Link Up seeks to support parents in their role so they get an equal chance to be good enough and to raise their children in families where they are loved and well cared for.
The 'Parent Link Project' will support parents to look at some of the key aspects of parenting to help them identify areas where they could make positive changes so they can better parent their children.
Devon Link Up will be running a series of 8 workshops where parents can meet and learn new skills and we hope they will also make new friendships and can share their understanding with others.The Project is funded by the Big Lottery 'Reaching Communities'.
